The Catalan Eden: The New Provence of the Pyrénées-Orientales

Clos de Paulilles is an iconic wine estate on the Côte Vermeille, nestled in the Paulilles Bay between Collioure and Banyuls-sur-Mer in the Pyrénées-Orientales. Acquired in 2012 by Maison Cazes, this vineyard is renowned worldwide for the quality of its wines and the spectacular beauty of its natural setting, classified as a “Grand Site de France.”

An Exceptional Terroir
The estate covers 90 hectares of valleys and schist terraces, with 65 to 72 hectares planted with vines facing the Mediterranean. The climate, schist soils, and marine influence provide ideal conditions for Mediterranean grape varieties, especially Grenache Noir, Syrah, Mourvèdre, and Grenache Blanc. The vines are organically farmed and HVE3 certified, reflecting a strong commitment to the environment.

Wines with Character
Clos de Paulilles produces a complete range of wines under the Collioure, Banyuls, and Banyuls Grand Cru appellations.

  • Reds: Powerful and structured, with notes of dark fruits, spices, and licorice.
  • Whites: Fresh and mineral, with aromas of white flowers and exotic fruits.
  • Rosés: Elegant, fruity, and perfect for summer.
